An innovative and adaptable business attorney with 11 years of legal experience in business litigation and commercial transactions. Kevin is committed to maximizing value to the businesses of his clients through creative and strategic planning, risk assessment and responsive action. Kevin has proven his worth in multimillion-dollar trials, high-stakes negotiations and in leveraging technology to streamline legal operations. His aptitude for liaising between clients, expert consultants, and other professionals across industries and subject matters makes him integral member of any legal team.
Kevin started his legal career as a paralegal at a civil litigation law firm, where he learned the ins and outs of complex business litigation practice from some of the most well-respected litigation and trial attorneys in Orange County, California. Because of his proficient technical skills and his capacity to quickly grasp complex issues in science, technology and law, he was trusted with much of the day-to-day progress of the firm’s largest and highest-value cases. This required extensive collaboration with lead attorneys and expert witnesses in preparation for and participation in strategy meetings, depositions, summary judgement matters and trial (including working on the trial team for trials in New York and California). Kevin’s enthusiasm for this work led him to study subjects on his own time such as, eDiscovery, emerging legal technologies and related rules of civil procedure. Kevin has been sought after as an eDiscovery consultant by law firms and litigation support individuals in both California and Texas.
Kevin graduated cum laude from law school. He was selected to be a writer and editor on the school’s law review. Also, he served two years as Vice President of the school’s chapter of the J. Reuben Clark Law Society. Kevin was recognized and awarded for earning the highest grade in his legal research & writing and legal practice courses.
